Having trouble deciding how to  update or renovate, let our in-house interior designers help. We can help  you select the perfect countertop & backsplash to even bigger project, such as, entire kitchen / bath make overs. Desginer KB also carries tile and cabinetry.

Generally, we maintain an assortment of  granite and quartz samples or our customers are welcomed to visit one of our local stone suppliers such as OHM or Triton. We offer complete in house templating, fabrication and installation. The customer can even see their countertop being fabricated, since all fabrication is done in Madison, Alabama!

Our Process:

 

1. Visit our showroom to view the numerous color choices for your project.

 

2. Select the color of your countertop (granite, quartz, marble, solid surface). Complete the contract and pay 50% deposit.

 

3. Templating of countertop takes place to insure a perfect fit.

 

4. When material arrives, customer has opportunity to view it before any cuts are made.

 

5. Fabrication process begins.

 

6. Installation of countertop begins; remainder of balance is paid upon completion.  

Designer KB generally uses one of our local stone suppliers for our stone purchases, so the customer can hand pick their slab if they choose to.

 

Quartz Countertops:
Boasting the best qualities of laminate and stone (along with its own special features), quartz began appearing in U.S. homes just a few years ago after gaining popularity in Europe for the past decade. Today, quartz countertops are exploding in popularity, with U.S. sales increasing 60% in 2004.

Although some quartz countertops are actually made of quarried slabs of the natural stone, the new engineered material is created through a manufacturing process that mixes approximately 95% ground natural quartz with 5% polymer resins. The result is a super-hard ( 7 times harder than granite), low-maintenance, natural stone-look countertop available in a dazzling array of colors that never has to be sealed and provides a uniform pattern that is pleasing to the eye .
